Apps in this category are full of comforting promises — automatic delivery, AI resurrection, "yours forever." Most of them can't be kept. LIFELOOK+ is built the other way around: fewer promises, all of them true. Here is what we refuse to do, in writing.

There is no scheduled "when I'm gone" delivery and no promise that a company will still exist to keep it. Promises like that quietly depend on servers, subscriptions, and someone else's diligence.
Instead: the handoff is human. LIFELOOK+ helps you prepare it — a letter of instruction, a recovery key you place with someone you trust, letters they open themselves.
There is no account and no content server. Your memories, letters and recordings never touch our servers — so there is no copy for a breach, an employee, or a court order to reach. The only things our server ever handles: an email address if you opt into product updates, and payment processing if you buy a bundle.
Instead: everything lives on your device, and backups are files you hold and place where you decide. Even when family add a note to one of your memories, they do it here, in person, on your device — no account, no invite, nothing sent.
No AI version of you exists here, and we won't pretend one does. Continuation is a dated, revocable directive about a hypothetical future — a record of what you would and wouldn't authorize, if such technology ever exists.
Instead: your wishes are written down, in your words, and you can withdraw them at any time.
No "military-grade" fog. Encryption at rest is opt-in (AES-256-GCM) and we tell you in the app exactly what is and isn't covered. Backup and transfer files are genuinely encrypted. Time-locked letters use a public time-lock beacon, so a sealed letter really cannot be opened before its date — not by you, not by us.

Exports use documented, open formats — plain files and standard ZIP archives with a readable manifest — so what you made stays readable even without LIFELOOK+. Pricing is one-time; there is no subscription treadmill holding your legacy hostage.
